‘In the Mean Time’ took place at John Van Oers’ studio at Pourbusstraat 10 in Antwerp, Belgium. It presented a selection of sculptures and photographs made around the idea of spaciousness and surface. Each work was supposed to convey a sense of absence, as if something important were missing. It was empty space that was supposed to link one work to the other in the exhibition.
